PetSmart Charities and Fort Worth open another Pet Adoption Center

PetProject_PetsSmartThis Saturday, December 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. PetSmart Charities and the City of Fort Worth Animal Care and Control will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to formally open the newest PetSmart Charities Satellite Adoption Center.  Pet adoptions and tours of the new 1,730 square foot center, located at 2901 Texas Sage Trail in Fort Worth will be available all day.

In May of 2010, the City of Fort Worth and PetSmart Charities opened the first-even “enhanced adoption center” off Loop 820 in Fort Worth.  That adoption center has already helped save the lives of more than 2,600 pets – increasing adoptions for Fort Worth AC&C by 119 percent in its first year.

The new adoption center will house more than 35 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens, and about 20 pets are expected to be adopted from the center each week.
