Make plans to attend Fido Fest Saturday, November 2nd!

"Fido" meets Fido at Fido Fest!

The Humane Society of Flower Mound invites everyone to celebrate life with dogs at the annual Fido Fest on Saturday, November 2, 2013!

Be part of this fun-filled event, a tradition among the dog-loving residents of Flower Mound and the surrounding cities. Fido Fest 2013 will kick off with a dog walk at 10:00am through the trails of Flower Mound followed by a morning of games, concessions, contests, and more for dogs and their people. Also not to be missed are demonstrations by Frisbee dogs from the Dallas Dog & Disc Club and a chance to meet the Flower Mound Police K-9 team. Shop vendor booths, have a professional portrait taken of your dog in a special Christmas set, and get your dog microchipped.

Entrants in the dog walk receive an event t-shirt, dog bandana, and goodie bag. Register at or visit for details.

Dogs and their people can compete to win prizes in the dog costume contest or by being a top fundraiser for the dog walk. Kids can learn about dog safety, play in the bounce house, and make crafts for themselves and their pets. Each dog registered will receive an Official Passport Book with paw print ID issued by The United Canines of Fido Fest and HSFM. Every canine deserves official recognition and a fun Passport of their own! Vendors and booths will stamp passports, and those that have traveled to all the destinations will be entered into a drawing for a prize.

FidoFest is not only a day of fun for the whole family, it is an important annual fundraiser for Humane Society of Flower Mound. Since 1997, HSFM has given hope to thousands of homeless, abused, and unwanted animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding communities by providing spay/neuter programs, adoption opportunities, and education to the public about animal welfare.
